Settlers in the Wabash Valley, 1774-1954. John McClelland (d.1777) and his brothers (Alexander, Benjamin, William) moved from Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania to Scott County, Kentucky . This book in part one discusses the migration of John McClelland, the indian attack, the death of John, the settlement of Georgetown, KY, early land grants, wills, and genealogy. Part two covers the Harper family, beginning twith Nicholas Harper borm in Amstetdam, Holland in 1706. He emigrated to Germany and then to America in 1741.
