This publication provides a genealogical history of the family of William McCoy, a Scotch immigrant to America. He died in Kentucky around 1818. Alexander, William's brother, served in the Revolutionary War and died in Ohio in 1829.

This book traces the family's migration from Scotland through Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia before settling in Kentucky and other western states.
