Miles Merwin, 1623-1697, and one branch of his descendants. Sailing in the ship Mary and John, from Plymouth, England, with about 140 in company, in March 1630, was Miles Merwin.  He was a boy of about seven years heading with this group to a new home in the new world of America. They were on the ocean ten weeks then reached the land at Nantasket, Mass., on May 30th.
