This short book provides the descendants of Captain Joseph Miller (1698-1760) of West Springfield, Massachusetts, from 1698-1908. He was probably the grandson of Lieut. Thomas Miller, who was killed by Indians at the burning of Springfield in 1675. He was a man of prominence in the community. Joseph Miller married Mary Wilder and for many years he was a in command of a company of soldiers and saw much service in the Indian wars. He was a farmer by occupation.
