The Millers of Millersburg and their Descendants.
With kindred families of Miller, McGee, Jameson, Read, Scott, Wyatt, Donnelly, White, Washington, Blackwell, Smith, Mayfield, Johnson, Kuykendall, Beene, Sadler, Clark, Woodfin, Whiteside and Myers. Isaac Miller was the immigrant ancestor of the branch in discussion. He was born in Ireland about 1755 and died in Tennessee in 1806. He was married twice, was a soldier in the Revolutionary War, and after the Whiskey Rebellion in 1794 he moved his family to Virginia, Kentucky, and then to Tennessee. He settled in Rutherford County at a place he named Millersburg. He died ten years later. By his first marriage to Margaret he had nine children and by his second, one son.
