This book constitutes a genealogical and biographical record of the descendants of Andrew Mills and his wife Margaret McCormic Mills, of Pettigoe, Ireland, and of Canada and the United States. Also included are genealogies of related families, to 1944. Having liquidated his farm in Ireland, Andrew with his wife and eleven children left for Canada. They settled in the village of Kemptville, Ontario. In 1841 he purchased a 75 acre farm. In addition to farming he was a shoemaker.
