These are the descendants and ancestors of Rufus Jefferson  Kemp, of Tennessee, (1881-1962) and Susan Beasley Kemp (1887-1937). They were married in 1904. Included are many photos, letters, articles and personal refections.

The name Kemp and / or Camp is derived from the Saxon word combat, and has a rich history.

The Kemps immigrated to America in it's earliest years, settling in Virginia and other immigrants to Massachusetts. They have been involved in public office, military service records for the Colonial, Revolutonary, War of 1812, and more.
