This is the Kline and Young Families of the Mohawk Valley. The surnames Kline or Cline, Clyne and Young or Jung are found among records of the earliest settlers of the Mohawk Valley and Hudson Valley of New York and flourished during the troubled days of the Revolution. William Kline, the emigrant of one branch, was born in 1731 in Germany and arrived in America in 1767. He died in 1814 at his home in New York. He married Maria O'Reagan who was born in Ireland.
