This 1900 publication on the Lamb - Savory - Harriman family provides history, references, traces ancestors, shares insights on the immigrants to America. It details Isaac Lambe who bought land near the Mystic River in 1695. It is believed he came from England with his father, first settling in Haverhill, Mass then driven by indians to New London, Connecticut. He was married to Elizabeth, they had nine children, and is said to have served in Cromwell's army. Isaac Lambe died in 1723. Another Lambe was seen in 1630, Thomas Lambe with Governor Winthrop and the Puritans.
