This booklet is extracted from Genealogical notes of Barnstable Families from a reprint of the Amos Otis Papers, originally published in The Barnstable Patriot.  This is the history of John Crocker of Barnstable MA. in 1639, a brother to William Crocker also of Barnstable. John was the elder brother, he left no family, but William's posterity is numerous. The ancient name written in England was Croker.
