Enclosed is the genealogy of the Dodson (Dodson, Dotson) family, from 1600 to 1907.  Some of the early history includes the escape from an Indian raid in 1784. Going by canoe across the Susquehanna River, looking back the family saw their new and humble home and its contents burned. There were many early English Dodson settlers in America, to Penna, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, etc.
