Joseph Smith Black was born in Lisburn Antrim Co. Ireland and came to America and settled in Utah. He was a leader in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His first of three wives was Nancy Cynthia Allred who's family came to Utah in 1850. She was 15 years old when they married.
