BOYCE: The journey of Boyce family

The Boyce family is of French origin and was carried into England by Huquenots who fled from the persecution of their countrymen in France. The Boyce family in America are of of Scotch branch and English branch who settled in Salem, Mass and Londonderry, New Hampshire. There were various spellings of the Boyce name. Joseph Boyce born in 1611 in England, came to America around 1638.
