This is a genealogical account of the Chandler family in England and of the brothers, John and George Chandler, who sailed from Wiltshire, England to Penna in 1686. Their father was John Chandler of Oare and well esteemed in the community and chosen to the office Churchwarden of Wilcot in his father's place, Thomas (b. 1570) upon his passing. Their English pedigree is recorded for two and a half centuries, with variations on the spelling of the name.
