This book gives an account of the Chapin Family members in America who served in the French and Indian Wars 1754-1760; The Revolutionary  War 1775-1783; The War of 1812-1815 and others, who fought to free America from British rule. 

The Chapin family is descended from Samuel Chapin, a Puritan deacon, who settled in Mass between 1636-1640 in Roxbury, then Springfield in 1642.
