This is an account of the Chatfield Family of Naugatuck Valley, Connecticut, along with allied families. The first settlers in America were three brothers Francis, George and Thomas who came from England in 1639 in Rev. Henry Whitfield's company, to Guilford, Conn. Francis died unmarried.
