It seems like most families have someone interested in genealogy, and in my family, that would be me. In the late 1970s, my grandmother gave me a xeroxed copy of a book written by Bell Shank Cadmus, dated 1932. She was applying to be in the Daughters of the American Revolution and used this book as proof she was related to Lt. Llewelyn Davis. It also has President John Adams (and son) in the book, but they weren’t in the military. Someone must have found a cleaner copy than I have of the book to publish it.
