This booklet gives the history of the DeHaven Family, 3rd Edition. The 1st edition was published in 1894. Jacob DeHaven contributed supplies to the Revolutionary Army while they were at Valley Forge, when they were at their greatest need, the soldiers were hungry and ill equipped.  He loaned a vast amount of money to the war effort, and for many years sought to be repaid by the U.S. Government. This is covered in detail.
