This is the genealogy of the Dimond or Dimon family of Fairfield, Connecticut. Thomas settled at Pequonnock, was  mariner. We have ten generations of descendants listed from him. The name was spelled in various ways including Demont, Demond, Dimond, Dymond, Demon, Diman. He died about October 19, 1658 and a copy of the inventory of his estate is shown. Also listed are the Dymonts of East Hampton, Long Island and the Dimonds of New Hampshire.
