This is the Dings Family in America: a genealogy, with memoirs and comments. Johann Jacob Dings (known as Hans) was born in Europe about 1675, he came to America in 1710 with his wife Gertrude (Loucks) and family. He was one of the pioneer settlers in northern Dutchess County, New York.
