This booklet is a genealogical record of the Dinkins and Springs families and related families that are listed on the cover page. Three brothers James, John, and Samuel Dinkins, and two cousins, landed in Charleston, South Carolina in October, 1717. Later we see their names in North Carolina. From records of Mecklenburg County we see some of them listed in The Revolutionary War and The War of 1812. And later generations in the Civil War.
