This volume contains the family records and genealogy of the Gillson / Jillson family. The descendants of James of Rehoboth, Mass., and Joseph of Groton, Mass. The first to come to New Englandwas William Gillson, from County Kent, England in 1631. He was a founder of the church at Scituate, he built the first windmill in the colony for grinding corn.
