This is a genealogical record and history of the Gray family of French,  English and Scottish descent. We're given the descendants of John Gray of Beverly, Massachusetts and sketches of other Gray families. John Gray married Ruth Hebbard in 1704. The Gray family in America is numerous, widespread and with many branches. They were among the Pilgrims of New England, the Quakers of Penna, and the early settlers of Virginia.
