By William Clarkson Greenlee

These are the descendants of Edward Greenlee of West Virginia. These records being continued and brought to date from the book Greenlee Family published in 1908 by Ralph Stebbins Greenlee. The name is ancient in Europe. Religious persecution was the prime cause which led them to leave the north of Ireland and emigrate to America. We see several in Penna and Delaware in the early to mid 1700s.
