Henry Guthrie and John Lane Mason, their ancestors, descendants and collateral kin. John Lane Mason is of the third generation of descendants of Henry Guthrie. He was born Feb 22, 1827 in Nashville, TN. He was married in 1849 to Sarah Ann Deel, and soon after went into the lumber business. Read about their family ventures and how they ended up in Oregon, where he died in 1894. Sarah Ann lived for thirty more years after her husband's death.  Note this book discusses photos in it - to which there are none to be seen. Typescript.
