Seven generations of the Hanchett family are recorded, along with some information on allied families. He was born in England and he died in Suffield, Connecticut in June of 1686, at about sixty-six years of age. He is the ancestor of this branch of the American family. Find out who Deacon Thomas was and why he came to America between 1630 and 1640. His wife was Deliverance and she lived to a well advanced age and died also at Suffield in 1718.
