HARDENBERGH FAMILY: A Genealogical compilation 1958

  • 8000

By Mertle Hardenbergh Miller

This genealogical compilation of the Hardenbergh family includes a wealth of information as seen in the table of contents pictured. It is an ancient name of Germanic origin. The annals reach back to 1174 when the Castle Hardenberg was erected in the Kingdom of Hanover between Gottingen and Nordheim. The name is seen from the earliest days of America, as they settled in New Amsterdam (New York) showing wills and the record of Gerrit and Jaepie, members of the Reformed Dutch Church of New York.
