This is a pedigree of genealogical history of the Hart family, with a focus on Deacon Stephen Hart and his descendants, from 1632-1875. He came from Essex County, England  to Massachusetts about 1632. The family resided for many generations in the areas of Farmington, New Haven, Burlington, and New Britain, Connecticut. These old towns are rich in early history. The name is also spelled Harte, Hartt, Heart, Hearte. Listed are authors, clergy, lawyers, physicians, and soldiers, by the name Hart.
