This is the Hart family history: Silas Hart, his ancestors and descendants. This book begins with Deacon Stephen Hart who was born in 1605 in England, and came to America in 1632. He came from Essex County, England  to Massachusetts about 1632. The family resided for many generations in the areas of Farmington, New Haven, Burlington, and New Britain, Connecticut. These old towns are rich in early history. The name is also spelled Harte, Hartt, Heart, Hearte.
