A short acct. of the descendants of William Haskell of Gloucester, MA (Repr. Essex Inst. Hist. Coll.) The first settlers of the name in America appear to have been three brothers, Roger, William and Mark. They were in the part of Salem, also known as Beverly, in 1637. Roger born 1613, William in 1617, and Mark was also born in England, date unknown. William married Mary in 1643 and they had several children.
