  • 1200

By Edward Hatch Fletcher

Listed in this booklet are descendants of Major Timothy Hatch of Hartford, CT. Buried in the old burying ground in Hartford, he died June 10, 1838. After the close of the Revolution he was a major in the militia, and at the time of Shay's Rebellion was called out for it's suppression. He took an interest in public affairs, and his name was seen in connection to public meetings. He was a member of the Hartford Eiscopalian Church.  The Hatches were of the earliest settlers of Scituate, who came from Kent, England before 1633.
