Descendants of Simeon Hathaway, also containing some lineage of Breckenridge, Bingham, Cass, Hinsdill, Lyman, Martin, McCoy, Smith, Shepard, Parks and Warner. Nicholas Hathaway was the first of the family to come to America in 1638, from England. Simeon was the son of Shadrack and Deborah. He was born in 1719. He married Deborah Austin in 1742. They had twelve children. Simeon became a 1st Lieutenant in Captain Samuel Robinson's Co. Simeon and his seven sons fought in the Battle of Bennington.
