This book provides the genealogy of Sgt. Richard Haven (1620-1703) of Lynn, Massachusetts who came from England to America before 1645. He settle on a farm near Flax Pond, where his first child was born in February, 1645. It is believed that one or more brothers came with him. The Lynn Records show that (several) children were born to Richard and Sussana (Newhall) Haven between 1645 and 1667. Numerous biographical sketches of prominent family members through the centuries are included. A letter to the Reverend Samuel Haven from George Washington is included.
