Genealogical sketches of brothers Robert and John Hazelton of New England, and some of their descendants. Variously written through the years as Haseltine, Hazeltine. Hassaltine, Hazelton, etc. In the year 1637 there landed at Salem, Massachusetts Bay the Rev Ezekiel Rogers and about sixty families who had come from Yorkshire and Devonshire, England. Robert and John Hazelton were in this company. They took the freeman's oath May 13, 1640, becoming freemen and citizens on the same day.
