A llineage and ancestry of the Hess and Higbee families. Three Hess brothers bid farewell to their loved ones in native German and came to America. About the same time three Higbee brothers came from England to America and landed in New York. Both of these families spread out from their landing spot. Passing through Pennsylvania and into Ohio we find Mary Ann Higbee, a granddaughter of James Higbee, Sr., uniting in marriage with George W. Hess in Crawford Count, Ohio.
