This is an account of the Hiatt - Hiett genealogy and family history, from 1699-1949. John Hiett, Quaker, immigrant, England to Pennsylvania c.1699. The book discusses religion as the Hiatts were originally Quakers, however descendants of Jesse and Julia united with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons). William Hiatt Jr., was disowned by the Quakers in 1792 for his marriage, he later rejoined them in North Carolina. His son Jesse was disowned for his marriage to Julia Taylor in 1818. She was disowned in 1845.
