This short booklet shares a bit of history on the Hollister name, originating in England, and the descendants of John Hollister, Sr. family, one of the first settlers of Wethersfield, Connecticut. He was married to Joanna, daughter of Richard Treat, and they had eight children. John Sr died at the age of 53 in 1665.
