This book contains the history and ancestry of Richard Horton (1727) and Elizabeth Harrison Horton, along with descendants of Deacon Nathaniel Horton (1741) of Pennsylvania and Rebecca Robinson. The genealogy begins with Barnabas Horton, son of Joseph Horton, born in Mousely, England in 1600, who immigrated to America with his wife, Mary, and two children, about 1638. They were in the ship Swallow with Captain Jeremiah Horton, master and owner. The first Horton to come to America were supposed brothers, they were Thomas, Jeremiah, and Barnabas.
