Jonathan S. Howell

This book provides the history and genealogical record of John Howell, of Philadelphia, 1697, and Jacob Stutsman Families, with biographical memoirs of the descendants. John Howell, the progenitor of the family in America, was a native of the ancient walled city of Aberysthwyth, Gardiganshire, a province of Wales. The Jacob Stutsman (Stutzman, Stootsman), family is of German origin. They were settled in Berks County and surrounding areas in Penna.
