Norwich, in the southeastern part of Connecticut was settled in 1660 by a determined group of Puritans. There were thirty-five original proprietors of the town. William Hyde, his son Samuel and son in law, John Post being part of it. This publication presents the Andrew Hyde (and Rebecca Hyde) family genealogy, Andrew being sixth in descent from William Hyde of Norwich. three hundred years and ten generations. This ancestry shows both the maternal and paternal lines. Records of births, marriages, deaths, residences, and brief biographical sketches are included.
