A genealogy of Reverend John Jackson, of Massachusetts, and the related Rogers family. Included are insights into the family histories and the allied ancestral lines. It reflects on the family's legacy, their settlement in America, and involvement in the wars. 

Individual sketches offer details of professions, public service, marriages, illnesses, and children of various family members. It  provide a glimpse into the diverse lives and experiences of the family members, showcasing early colonial life, a range of occupations and lifestyles.
