This short booklet was published in 1913 and contains the genealogy of the Killam family of England and Essex County, Massachusetts. See various spellings of the name. Austin Killam was born about 1595 and came to America about 1637, in the Mary Anne. He was married to Alice and involved in the public affairs of the community and churches of Salem, Wenham, and Dedham. In 1658 the people of Wenham contributed to the support of Harvard College, and Mr Killam and his two sons Daniel and John are on the list of donors. He also gave liberally to the support of the church. The meeting house was erected on his land. A copy of both his and his wife's will are shown.
