A genealogy of the Kinney, Stribling, Trout, McIlhany, Milton, Rogers, Tate, Snickers, Taylor, McCormick and other families of Virginia. In the Kinney line this record begins with William Kinney who owned property that was purchased in October, 1779, on the south side of Hardware River, near Scottsville in Albermarle County. He was born about 1725 and married Mary in 1764.
