This book covers the history and genealogy of the Knauss family of Germany and America, tracing the records of Lukas Knauss (1633-1713) of Dudelsheim, Germany, and his American descendants. Dudelsheim is in the Palatinate region in Germany, and during the Thirty Years War these citizens had to flee their homes. In America their line starts with Ludwig Knauss who came in 1723. It includes information from family reunions, personality sketches, photocopied photos, records from the Moravian Historical Society of Penna and Montgomery County Historical Society.
