This book details the Lancaster family, their ancient history, a sketch of their origin in England, the ancestry of Joseph Lancaster of Amesbury, Massachusetts and his descendants. In 1667 he took the Oath of allegiance, he was a carpenter and aided in building the new meeting house. He was a deacon of the church and was twice married. His first wife Mary Carter, and after 1676 married Hannah. He died in 1719. Listed are children, birth and death dates, marriages, wills, and more. This scarce antiquarian book is a reprint of the original. Due to its age, it may contain imperfections such as marks, notations, marginalia and flawed pages.
