Latourette  in America.. Jean LaTourette was born in about 1651 in France. He married Marie Mercereau. They were Huguenots and fled France about the time of the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes in 1685. They emigrated to America and setttled in New York City. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New York and New Jersey.
