Earl Alexander MacLennan

This short booklet contains the genealogy of Richard and Rachael Livings, born and married in England. They emigrated to America about 1770, with their children. New Jersey records certify that Richard Living served in the Revolutionary War as a private, and was compensated. Sarah Livings, born in 1842, in New York, married David R. Moulton in 1859. He was born 1835. When the Civil War took place, he responded to the call, leaving his wife and two children to serve. At one point he was severely wounded, taking furlough, then returned to the battlefield until the end of the war. They both died in Illinois.
