This book gives an account of the Macomber genealogy. By Everett Schermerhorn Stackpole, 1850-1927. These are the descendants of John Macomber who was in Taunton in 1643. He is one of three brothers who came to America. His brother William was in Duxbury in 1638, Thomas was in Plymouth in 1643. John Macomber built a mill in Taunton in 1659, he was a carpenter, was in a military company in 1680, was living in 1687 and died before 1690.
