Extracted from the Brown genealogy, this short booklet gives an account of the Maxson family;

Richard Maxson of Boston, Massachusetts, 1634 seen as Maggsen, admited to the Church of Boston. He was killed by indians in 1638 (per tradition). 

John Maxson of Westerly, Rhode Island. John Maxson was born in 1638 on the Island of Aquidneck and his wife was Mary Mosher.
