McAfee-Skiles-Liebmann Memorial is a genealogy tracing three American Soldiers and their connections. The book was researched by Liebmann, a descendant of the McAfee and Skiles lines through his maternal side and the Liebmann line through his paternal side. It chronicles the lives and times of these ancestors and their wider family networks. Maps and illustrations, help to show the story. John McAfee was born in Kentucky in 1784 and moved to east Tennessee. He served in the War of 1812 and the Mexican War, and became Speaker of the Assembly in Missouri. He married twice, and died in 1867.
